Often, I will have a chat with a good friend in Florida about the relationship to population centers, location, behavior and “godliness.”  He is quite conservative, and is a little more umm “religious” than I.  Though only in minor ways, he still proselytizes on occasion.  I stopped him once by saying:

“You know..  I am a lot more like Jesus than you..”

“Whatchu talkin bout willis?”

“I can perform miracles ..right here in Michigan  something you are currently unable to do..”

Silence for a couple seconds..

“Ok Wise guy  what miracles can you perform?”

“Well..  for example..  You are down there in Florida, in a place some would call paradise, and I am up here in “Gods Country..”

“get on with it..”

“OK  Its January..  YOU go and try to walk on water.”

He hung up on me.
